Interactive Financial Marketing Group Processes Five Millionth Auto Loan Application — Milestone Marks Eight Years of Growth in Auto Finance Lead Generation

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) February 1, 2011

Interactive Financial Marketing Group (IFMG), a division of Dominion Enterprises, today announced it has distributed 5,000,000 online auto finance loan applications to its Carloan.com dealer network.

The key to achieving this significant accomplishment is the diverse network of auto finance web sites and partnerships that IFMG manages, combined with a proprietary lead routing system. Given the efficiency of its robust routing engine technology, IFMG has validated, screened and distributed an average of 625,000 car loan applications per year since the launch of the system. It achieved this historic level despite the recent economic downturn that has adversely impacted both the automotive and finance industries.

Prior to building the online marketing systems it currently uses for lead generation, IFMG kicked off its operations in 1989 using vanity phone numbers. Customized 800 numbers like 1-800-CAR-LOAN and 1-800-AUTO-LOAN generated auto finance applications that were then delivered to its dealer partners. The 5,000,000 application mark does not include applications that were received and processed before IFMG made the leap to the Internet in 2002.

“This is a landmark event in the history of IFMG,” said Tom Feary, General Manager of IFMG. “It reflects the trust that car buyers have in our auto finance websites such as Carloan.com, and the level of service our dealer network provides to those seeking a vehicle through financing. We’re looking forward to many more strong years connecting dealers to car buyers ready to be financed.”

IFMG invites auto dealers to visit Carloan.com at booth #2046S at the NADA Convention and Expo, February 5-7, 2011 in San Francisco to learn how they can join the Carloan.com dealer network.

British Holidaymakers Could Be Paying More Than Five Times Over The Odds For Car Hire Excess Insurance That May Not Even Provide Full Cover

(PRWEB UK) 8 June 2011

Thousands of Brits planning to hire a car this summer could be paying significantly over the odds for excess insurance because they take it out when they pick up their rental, rather than pre-buying online, according to research carried out by insurer Protectyourbubble.com.

Unsuspecting holidaymakers could end up paying over five times more for excess insurance on their vehicle by only purchasing cover when they are at the rental desk, through the car hire company, rather than shopping around and buying through a specialist online insurer.

Excess insurance is offered by car hire firms as a top-up insurance to reduce the customer’s liability on the rental in the event of a crash or damage. In some cases the excess is reduced to zero, but some companies still charge an excess even with the top-up cover.

Protectyourbubble.com carried out phone research into the six major UK car hire firms; Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Enterprise, National and Alamo and found that all six companies charged substantially more for excess insurance taken out by customers at the point when they picked up their car, than it would have cost pre-buying through a specialist online insurer.

Two of the largest car hire companies in the UK, Hertz and Avis, charged more than

Rent One Online Offers Flexible Membership Options to Vacation Property Managers; Platinum Members of Vacation Rental Travel Network Can Earn 375% Return on Investment Over Five Years

Scotts Valley, CA (PRWEB) May 31, 2006

Rent One Online, provider of innovative rental property management and vacation travel solutions, has created a more flexible membership program and announced the results of some recent investment analysis of their revenue sharing business model. Rent One Online now offers two membership levels:

The “Platinum” (revenue sharing) Membership – where vacation property managers, resorts and real estate offices pay a nominal subscription fee of just $ 1 per property per month to use the powerful reservation and property management software. For membership at this level, Rent One Online customers agree to market a range of complementary insurance and travel services to vacation travelers; In turn, Rent One Online shares the referral fees and commissions with its customers. These services include travel insurance, damage deposit waivers, car rentals, airline tickets and activities.

The “Gold” (software only) Membership – where Rent One Online customers pay a substantially higher upfront license fee to use the software and then pay an annual support fee for continued use of the software. In this model, much like the traditional software industry, they have access to world class software, but don’t share in the travel service revenues.

Based on existing customer performance, a five year investment analysis of participation in the Platinum Membership demonstrates that a rental manager with 50 properties would end up only investing $ 8,500 in Rent One Online services over five years while getting actual monetary returns of over $ 40,350, or a net return on investment of 375%. In other words, not only will Rent One Online literally be paying its customers to use its software, but also enable them to provide a level of service to vacation rental travelers that has never been seen in the industry before.

Not surprisingly, the vast majority of Rent One Online customers are opting for the Platinum level, revenue sharing membership. Kris Powers, owner of The Village Realtors in Carlsbad, CA (http://www.villagerealtors.net) is one such customer that sees tremendous value in the partnership with Rent One Online. “I recently left my previous vendor to join Rent One Online’s vacation rental travel network and in an extremely short amount of time they have provided me the opportunity of a lifetime. The web-based software not only satisfies my accounting needs, it has transformed my website into a real time booking portal where I am now able to serve my clients in a manner they were not accustomed to, but I desired.

Rent One Online has also transformed Kris’ business from rental property management to being a full service vacation travel provider. According to Kris, “With relatively little training, I am now able to help my clients’ travel needs by offering travel insurance and rental cars, and in the near future, even more vacation related services. There is no other choice for vacation rental managers as far as I am concerned. The Rent One Online vision is unsurpassed, not to mention that they are very helpful and friendly. I am literally making money using their software and they make me look fantastic from my clients’ point of view.”

Five Errors You?re Probably Making when Buying Travel Insurance, Warns Squaremouth

St. Pete Beach, FL (PRWEB) August 23, 2011

Understanding the critical mistakes many travelers make while purchasing travel insurance can prevent over spending and over insuring. ?Many people over insure without even knowing,? says Sarah Byrne, Marketing Manager at Squaremouth.com, a site for comparing and purchasing travel insurance. ?To avoid it, travelers should make themselves aware of what coverage they already have and what coverage they need to buy.?

Cancel for Any Reason

According to Squaremouth, cancel for any reason is one travel insurance benefit most travelers do not need. Cancel for any reason allows someone to cancel without explanation, benefiting those who must cancel a trip for a non-covered reason. Since trip cancellation covers travelers to cancel their trip and receive reimbursement in the event of illness, injury, inclement weather or terrorism, Squaremouth usually does not recommend upgrading a travel insurance policy to include the benefit.

?In almost all cases, people want to take their trip, and the reasons they would need to cancel are already covered under trip cancellation,? explains Byrne.

Before purchasing a travel insurance policy, travelers should review the covered reasons under the trip cancellation benefit. If a potential reason for cancelling is not listed, they should then consider upgrading the travel insurance policy to include cancel for any reason.

Too Much Evacuation Coverage

Most travelers are unaware of how much medical evacuation coverage is needed while traveling. Squaremouth recommends choosing the amount of medical evacuation insurance based on the destination. For example, $ 100,000 in evacuation coverage should be enough protection for visiting Europe, however, travelers visiting Asia or Africa may want to consider a travel insurance policy with at least $ 250,000 in evacuation coverage.

?Some travel insurance policies offer several million dollars of evacuation coverage, however, it is rare for an evacuation to cost more than $ 100,000,? advises Chris Harvey, CEO of Squaremouth. ?Don?t spend more for a travel insurance policy thinking multi-million dollar coverage is necessary.?

Buying From the Travel Supplier

Buying travel insurance from your airline, cruise line or tour company could result in purchasing a travel insurance policy for a higher premium with lower benefits. This is a common mistake many travelers make and can be the result of the lack of travel insurance options provided by the travel supplier. Squaremouth recommends searching for travel insurance on a comparison engine. This will provide more options with better travel insurance policies for less money.

Rental Car Coverage

Since many car insurance companies and credit card providers offer protection while driving a rental car, most travelers do not need to buy travel insurance to cover a rental car. Car insurance companies, including State Farm, Allstate and Progressive offer protection, however, not all policies will cover ?loss of use? fees if the rental car requires repairs. Most American Express, MasterCard and Visa cards provide a collision damage waiver, but travelers must purchase the rental car on the card for coverage to be available.

If travelers do not have the option to receive coverage from their car insurance or credit card provider, and do not have the need for a comprehensive travel insurance policy, rental car protection is available from Travel Guard or American Express. Both travel insurance companies offer rental car collision insurance ranging from $ 7 to $ 9 a day.

Frequent Flier Miles

Since travel insurance only lets travelers recoup non-refundable cash losses, travelers should not include intangibles like frequent flier miles.

?Adding those values to a travel insurance policy will increase the cost of your premium without adding additional coverage,? warns Byrne.

Some travel insurance policies, however, will reimburse the cost of a reissue fee, as well as fees to re-bank the miles.
